Books are now available for purchase!

We are now accepting phone and email inquires about book shop inventory for purchase. Purchases are for pick up only in the Ann Arbor District Library Downtown Branch Lobby. Call 734-302-7774 and leave a message or email faadlorders@gmail.com with book, CD, or DVD titles you are looking for. $5 minimum purchase.

The 2024 Special Sale dates are posted on the Book Shop page, however, All future sale dates are tentative due to the coronavirus outbreak.

There is a large selection of books for sale from the Friends.  Come in, browse, buy some great books at low prices, and help the Library at the same time!  There are also books for sale at Pittsfield and Malletts Creek Branches.

 WHO ARE THE FRIENDS?

The Friends of the Ann Arbor District Library are a committed group of volunteers who operate the Friends Book Shop on the first floor of the  Downtown Ann Arbor District Library.

TO HELP US SUPPORT CHILDREN’S PROGRAMMING AT THE LIBRARY, WE NEED:

• Volunteers who staff the Book Shop, serve on the Board and sort donations.
• Donations of books, CDs and DVDs
• Members who provide ongoing and sustaining support to the Friends and the Book Shop.

  If you like the Book Shop, please “like” us on Facebook and review us on Yelp!

The Friends Book Shop is located on the first floor of the Downtown Library, and is open every day. The hours are listed in the green side bar or bottom bar.
